Celebrate National Tree Week 2026 with us at Tralee Bay Wetlands Ecology Park!

Join us on Saturday, 14th March for a FREE 1 hour hands on Tree Planting Workshop to celebrate National Tree Week Sunday 8th March to Sunday 15th March. Two workshop times available 11:30am or 2pm.

You will receive a number of native bareroot saplings along with guidance on how to plant and care for your saplings.

National Tree Week organised by the Tree Council of Ireland in partnership with Coillte, is Ireland’s largest celebration of trees, inviting communities to come together and appreciate the beauty, value, and importance of our woodlands. This year’s theme, “Growing a Greener Future Together" highlights the vital role of planting, protecting, and caring for trees in strengthening climate action, supporting biodiversity, and enhancing wellbeing across our communities and schools.

Only open to community groups and schools. Registration essential and spaces are limited to adults only.
